Dr. Greg Rupp – General Dentist

Greg ShebaDr. Rupp completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and went on to complete a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, IL in 1985.

He started his career in dentistry in Chicago, moved to Charlotte and in 1989, Dr. Rupp purchased a small dental practice in Shallotte, originally located on Pine Street.  As the practice grew, a new office was needed.

In April of 1999, Dr. Rupp built a new and larger building to accommodate his patients needs and moved to our current location in Riverview Professional Centre, on Main Street in Shallotte.

Dr. Rupp was impressed by the location not just because it was on Main Street, but primarily due to the breathtaking view of the Shallotte River and marsh that every patient treatment room enjoys.

ChristmasjpgSince graduation from dental school, Dr. Rupp has continued his education with The Pankey Institute, and Dr. Turbyfill, further qualifying him in advanced techniques in cosmetic, restorative, denture and occlusal dental treatments.  He has earned a Fellow Degree with the Academy of General Dentistry and is currently working toward the Master’s Degree.

Dr. Rupp is an active member of The American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentists and the North Carolina Dental Society.

Dr. Greg Rupp lives in Ocean Isle Beach with his wife, Debbie, their two children and dog, Sheba.  He spent several years traveling with east coast with his son supporting his surfing career.  With Nick in college, he gets to enjoy new past-times with his daughter, Micah’s involvement in soccer and his own love for fly fishing.

Dr. Rupp enjoys camping with this family and is actively involved in The South Brunswick Islands Rotary.  He is a long time board member of the SBI Rotary and also serves on the local and international boards of his college fraternity, PSI Upsilon.
